A top coat is the final layer of the system. It locks in the color, protects it from scratches and UV, and determines the finish — glossy, matte, or glass-like. If the base is the foundation, the top coat is what the client sees and feels every day until her next fill.
Which top coat fits which job
Super Top — a no-wipe top coat with a classic glossy finish. The everyday go-to that works with any manicure.
Top Shine — a no-wipe top coat with extra shine. If you want the most "glass-like" gloss possible, this is it.
Super Star — a no-wipe top coat with a liquid-glass effect. Deep, dimensional shine, like the nails are sealed under a lens.
Milky top — a no-wipe milky top coat. A soft milky haze instead of clear gloss — a softer, "frosted" finish.
Velvet — a matte top coat with a tacky layer. The classic matte texture, no shine.
Cashmere — a matte, plush-finish top coat. Softer than Velvet — feels closer to fabric than to polish.
Top Coat — a top coat for gel polish and biogel with a tacky layer. A universal finish for these systems.
Top Gel — a no-wipe top coat for gel and acrylic. If you work with extensions, polygel, or acrylic systems, this is the one.
Shimmer Silver / Shimmer Gold — top coats with a tacky layer and shimmer, for nail art and decor.

FAQ
What is a "tacky layer" top coat and what's it for? After curing, a thin tacky (dispersion) layer remains on the surface. It's either removed with cleanser before the manicure is worn, or used on purpose to attach decor, foil, or rhinestones — while the layer is tacky, it holds nail art in place.
No-wipe or tacky-layer top coat — which should I choose? If the manicure is finished and no more decor is going on — go with a no-wipe top coat (Super Top, Top Shine, Super Star, Milky, Top Gel): once cured, it's ready to wear, nothing to remove. If you plan to attach decor, foil, or rhinestones after the top coat — choose a tacky-layer one (Top Coat, Shimmer, Velvet, Cashmere).
Glossy or matte top coat — what's the difference? Glossy top coats (Super Top, Top Shine, Super Star, Milky) give classic shine at different intensities — from soft to maximum "glass" gloss. Matte top coats (Velvet, Cashmere) have no shine, with a velvety or plush texture.
Why do top coats yellow over time, and how do you avoid it? Yellowing is the formula's reaction to UV light and certain pigments (like turmeric in food). LOYA top coats don't yellow even from turmeric and keep their shine for the entire wear time — up to 4 weeks.
