LOYA Builder Gels & Polygel — Extensions That Hold Their Shape

"Extensions" is the section for everything a nail tech uses to sculpt and lengthen the nail: builder gels for architecture, and polygel — a gel-acrylic hybrid for fast extensions on forms. There's no single "right" material here — just options for different techniques, broken down below.

Which material fits which technique

Liquid Gel — self-levels and applies in a flowing layer. Works well for strengthening the natural nail, corrections, and fine sculpting. Camouflage and nude shades (5, 10, 15, 45, 51, 53, 61) in 15ml and 30ml sizes.

Sculpture Builder Gel — thicker, doesn't spread, holds its shape right under the brush. Good for architecture, free-edge extensions, and complex shapes. TPO-free, shades 32, 33, 36, 45, 51.

Crystal Builder Gel — the newest addition, same thick builder-gel principle in pastel shades (122 — pastel lilac).

Polygel — a gel-acrylic hybrid: strong as acrylic, odorless, almost no tacky layer, fully brush-controlled. Good for extensions on forms and tips, no-form techniques, French tip extensions, and even pedicure nail repair. Shades: clear-pink, natural pink, white, clear.

Why LOYA extension materials

Our gels self-level, apply in thin layers, and don't cause heat during application. They last up to 4 weeks without chipping or lifting, cure under any lamp, and are compatible with other brands' bases, top coats, and gels. Every formula is TPO-free and 7-free.

FAQ

What's better for extensions — gel or polygel?
Gel gives more control for gradual sculpting and architecture. Polygel holds its shape immediately and has almost no tacky layer — great for high-volume work or if you're still learning. Both LOYA options are TPO-free and last up to 4 weeks.

What's the difference between liquid gel and sculpture builder gel?
Liquid Gel self-levels and applies in a flowing layer — for strengthening and fine corrections. Sculpture Builder Gel doesn't spread and holds its shape under the brush — for architecture and complex designs.

What is polygel and how is it different from acrylic?
Polygel is a gel-acrylic hybrid. It's strong as acrylic, odorless, almost tack-free, and fully brush-controlled — unlike acrylic, it doesn't require a strong-smelling monomer.

How long do LOYA extensions last without chipping?
Up to 4 weeks without chipping or lifting as part of a full LOYA system.

Can you do polygel extensions without forms?
Yes — works with no-form technique, upper forms or tips, and pedicure nail repair.

Are LOYA extension gels and polygel TPO-free?
Yes, all TPO-free and 7-free.

Are LOYA gels and polygel compatible with other brands?
Yes, compatible with other brands' bases, top coats, and gel polishes.
