Acid primer: What is it and why is it needed?
- It's a reliable preparation of the nail plate before applying gel or acrylic.
- It's also recommended for use before applying gel polish on problematic nails.
- It effectively dries the nail plate and acts as a degreaser.
- It promotes strong adhesion with the material.
How to apply primer. Application technique:
- Apply to the prepared nail plate with a practically dry brush, avoiding contact with the skin.
- Wait for 2 minutes to dry completely.
- Apply base coat for gel polish, acrylic, or gel.
Can acid primer be replaced?
In general, it's recommended to use either acid or non-acid primer. However, if you don't have it on hand, you can replace it with a skin disinfectant or degreaser. We don't recommend using cleanser as it contains oils that can cause gel polish to peel off.
You can buy nail primer in an online store at a very advantageous price. Since minimal material is used, it lasts a long time.
