Aquarelle drops are liquid water-soluble drops for creating interesting and quick nail designs. They can also be used as regular watercolor for painting on paper.  

How to use watercolor drops?  

Fluids (drops) are very easy to use and even beginners can handle them. First, it is important to remember that watercolor drops are liquid watercolor, and the same rules that apply to regular watercolor apply to them.  

Liquid watercolor is applied on a white base.  

To ensure good adhesion, a matte surface is needed (such as watercolor paper). You can apply matte topcoat over the white base or apply regular topcoat and buff it. It doesn't matter, as long as the surface is not glossy, otherwise the watercolor will gather into one drop and nothing will work out.  

To dilute the color to the desired semi-transparent shade, use plain water; you can also use alcohol, but water is better.  

For painting, a professional natural watercolor brush is ideal, which can be purchased at an art supply store. It's ideal to choose a brush with a sharp tip, then any designs will be easier to do from the first try and the process will be truly enjoyable.  

Application technique for watercolor drops:  

Apply white gel polish to the nail in two layers.  

Dry in the lamp.  

Apply matte top coat and cure.  

Personally, I prefer using velvet top coat for intricate designs, as it allows for fine details.  

For blurred designs, cashmere is ideal, as its structure resembles watercolor paper.  

Take a small amount of watercolor with a brush and spread it over the nail.  

Blot the brush on a tissue to remove excess watercolor.  

Dip the brush in water and blend the watercolor where desired.  

Remember to blot the brush after each application.  

Apply watercolor several more times to create depth in the design. Air dry for 30-40 seconds until fully dry.  

Apply non-sticky top coat and cure in the lamp.  

Tip: Using a top coat with a wet effect (thick and leveling) adds extra volume and dimension to the design.  

It takes 3-5 minutes for a couple of nails and doesn't require advanced painting skills.  

You can enhance simple designs by adding thin lines and a spider web pattern for extra charm and visual complexity.
